Valid winning Tote bets that are placed and paid for on Interbet but not received into the Totalisator Pools:

Carryovers / Net Pool Ruling

In the event that valid Tote bets that are placed and paid for on Interbet, together with a valid ticket number but the bets are not received through the Totalisator, Interbet will undertake to pay winnings based on the official dividends declared by Saftote.

In addition to the above limits, where any valid winning bet is placed on Interbet but has not been received into the Totalisator, Interbet reserves the right to limit a dividend/return on a payout to the extent that the total payout does not exceed the "Nett Tote Pool" (or in other words the Gross Tote pool less the Totalisator deductions).

Should there be no winning tickets on any pool on the Totalisator (i.e. a full carryover) but winning tickets at Interbet that were not received into the Totalisator, Interbet will pay a dividend determined by dividing the Totalisator net pool by the number of all winning combinations at Interbet. The maximum liability to any customer or syndicate of customers as may be determined by Interbet in its sole discretion shall be limited to the total net Pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to ticket limits. Interbet’s maximum liability, in totality, to customers shall be limited to the pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to the overriding daily payout limit.

By way of example if a Soccer 6 is not won on the Totalisator and a Net pool of R10 000 is carried over. There are 10 winning combinations at Interbet on this event that have not been received through the Totalisator, then the Net pool of R10 000 is divided by 10 and a dividend of R1000 will be declared by Interbet on this event subject to their overriding limits.

At NO point will dividends exceed the Net Pool.

Where a portion of the pool is a carryover and is declared by the Totalisator bet, Interbet shall pay the winning dividend as declared by Saftote. However, the liability shall be limited to the value of the pool paid out and NOT the value of the total pool.

By way of example, if a Soccer 6 net pool is R10 000 on an event and a dividend of R900 is declared to 7 winning tickets of 63% of the net pool on Saftote (total payout R6300) and a carryover of R3700 is declared, then Interbet’s maximum liability to any customer (or syndicate of customers or any group of people as may be determined by Interbet in its sole discretion) shall be limited to the value of the pay-out, being R900 for the R1 unit.

The carryover figure will not be taken into account in declaring the dividend as the calculation of the dividend has already taken the carryover figure into account. Where a partial carryover is declared by the Saftote Totalisator, on non-commingled pools, Interbet shall pay its winning customers based on the value of the total pool. Interbet’s maximum liability shall be limited to the total pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to the overriding daily payout limit.

Payout Limits (Tote, Exotic, SP, All On and Yankee type bets):

Payout limits on valid winning tickets that are not received into the Totalisator apply to Win, Place, Swinger, Exacta, Trifecta, Quartet, Double, Place Accumulator, Jackpot, Pick 3, Bipot, Pick 6, Mixa Bets, Rugby Special, Score Special, Soccer GG, Soccer Pot, Soccer Special, Starting Price, All-to-Come and Yankee type bets. Pay-outs will be limited to the lower of the pool limit and the limits as detailed above.

Examples:

Valid winning tickets placed with Interbet but not received into Totalisator on local and international pools below R1 000 000:

Where any valid winning bet is placed on Interbet on one or more events, but the ticket is not received into the official Totalisator pool, the payout is determined after the outcome of the event on which such bet was struck becomes known, with reference to dividends generated by Saftote. If a number of bets containing the same selections are placed by more than one customer, and Interbet has reason to believe that these bets originated from or were placed on behalf of the same customer, syndicate of customers or any group of people acting in conjunction with each other as may be determined by Interbet in its sole discretion, Interbet reserves the right to limit the total winnings payable in respect thereof to the Pool Limit.

Winning limits shall also apply to Win, Place, Swinger, Exacta, Trifecta, Quartet, Double, Place Accumulator, Jackpot, Pick 3, Bipot, Pick 6, Mixa bets, Rugby Special, Score Special, Soccer GG, Soccer Pot and Soccer Special. The maximum winnings in respect thereof will be limited to THE TOTAL NET POOL LIMIT of the local SAFTOTE pool.

Where a partial carryover is declared by the Saftote Totalisator on a valid winning bet placed on Interbet, but not received into the Totalisator on non-commingled pools, Interbet shall pay winning customers based on the value of the total pool. Interbet’s maximum liability shall be limited to the total pool. These dividends and pay-outs will be subject to the overriding daily payout limit.
